Using blogs in my classroom will allow my students to practice reading and writing while developing technology skills. It will allow my students to communicate their thinking, share with classmates and teachers what they have learned, ask questions, get answers and share information. It will also allow them to acquire new learning and have fun while exploring posts, entries, videos, music, etc.
Blogging will also allow me to communicate more effectively with parents by posting our classroom progress, goals, activities, etc. It will allow parents as well to get informed and monitor their children at school.
